LOBBY DAY A GREAT SUCCESS!
On November 17, 2009 thirty-four credit union representatives hiked up to Parliament Hill, meeting with over forty policymakers and Parliamentarians from every federal national party, including one party leader, four ministers, four parliamentary secretaries and six regional caucus chairs. We also met with special advisors to Prime Minister Harper and Mr. Ignatieff as well as and members of the Agricultural Committee, Finance Committee, Industry Committee, and Senate Banking Committee.
