Canadian Central’s Discount Programs has launched an enhanced Corporate Express program with even greater savings for credit unions on their office supply purchases.
Last year we asked all the major office supply vendors to bid on your business. The purpose of this exercise was to ensure that credit unions are receiving the lowest prices on office supplies by aggregating our huge spending volumes and encourage competition among vendors. Corporate Express has again offered the best prices, while maintaining its high standard of product quality and customer service, so it will remain our preferred national vendor.
If participating credit unions buy in 2007 what they bought in 2006, they will save a further $337,000 on $2,135,000 in office supply purchases, while getting the same high quality products from our existing supplier!
As you know, the Core List (outlined in the custom catalogue) is changed yearly to reflect those items most commonly purchased. The website www.eway.ca has been updated as of January 1, 2007 to reflect those changes.
New for 2007
• Core List items in the custom catalogue are discounted a whopping 79%, on average (previously 67%) on over 330 items.
• Items found in the regular Corporate Express catalogue that are not in the custom catalogue are now 62% off current list. They were 58% in 2006.
• “Market Priced” items are already discounted and most are priced a further 5% lower for 2007 (10% total).
• Copy paper is further reduced by $5 per case and quality increased to a 92 brightness.
• Many more CE branded products, offering the same quality at lower prices than "name brands".
